OXM: Halo 2 Review and PoP2 demo

If you don't subscribe, it's certainly worth picking up this month. I know you PC folks have had the PoP demo for awhile, but now we Xbox folks can try it as well (it's fun!).


9.7 for Halo 2. It got demerritted for an apparently bad ending. I'm looking forward to the game, but this is critical confirmation of what I've heard from some friends at MS. Kind of disappointing, but I guess that's what Halo 3 is for.


In another exclusive, PoP2 with a 9.6. These are the 2 titles I'm looking most forward to playing this winter.

Sure, let's see if I can remember :)

Other demos: DOA: Ultimate, ESPN NFL, The Incredibles, Conflict: Vietnam.


There is also a "Super Secret Easter Egg Demo", but I haven't got the code yet.


Review. The reviewer stated the Assault Rifle should be used over duel wielding. You will be boarded when in vehicles. Sound & Graphics stunning. VERY story intensive. The review says you get so much thrown at you that you'll get confused (pacing problem). Load times nearly eliminated. Tons of multi-player maps and modes, with downloadable content to come.

The easter egg is just a Japanese only game, not very good either.

PoP = Prince of Persia? I don't get it. What's that got to do with Halo 2?

The magazine had the exclusive, and a demo was included. 9.6 for Prince of Persia 2 is the 2nd highest score they've ever given (beaten by Halo2). The demo is BEAUTIFUL!! Gameplay is pretty much like Ninja Gaiden now. Lots of button mashing, which I am not the biggest fan of. My favorite part of PoP 1 was the platforming and puzzles. These are now secondary to combat.

NINJA GAIDEN IS NOT BUTTON MASHING.

Hold L and press the following:

A, Up, X, Y, Left, Right, B, B, Down, Down, Y, Left, X, Right, A, Up,down


The controls in Phantom Dust you have to play with to figure out.
