I know this has been talked about before, but how much difference do you REALLY notice with HT use when you use a P 43 phosphor (fast recovery?)

The reason I'm asking is that I'm getting a 9000LC and a 9500LC in within a week that have these P 43 tubes in them.

What can I expect, and should I order new tubes in? (these supposedly have 0 wear on them!)

Thanks!

I don't think most people could tell the difference. Don't listen to all this flicker crap, it's BALONEY. I've used MANY of them and in certain respects, they're even BETTER than the 22's. You've got eyes, look for yourself and YOU tell me.

Frankly, I was looking for terms like '3 dimensional', 'warmth', and 'smooth imaging'.

This down to earth tech talk has gotten me all confused..;)

I will indeed report when I see them myself late this week or next week.

There is definite no more flicker with these tubes.

I could not tell the difference in a blind test.

Agreed, I've used P43 tubes too, with no problems at all.

The P43 would actually be preferable in some circumstances. less phospher induced streaking
