I just primed and painted some MDF boards with Semi Gloss Black Paint. These are tables I'm using as Cup/Popcorn holders. I started thinking that the Plastic Popcorn Holders could scuff or nick the paint on the MDF when trying to rest it in place. I hit an area with the handle of my roller, and it took it down to the primer, so I had to repaint it.

Is there such a thing as a clear sealer that I can spray or paint over the painted MDF that will protect it from scuffs and small dings? If so, any ideas where I can purchase it?

You can pick up clear coat paint in a rattle can at your local parts/paint store. Just make sure you wet sand it with around 1500 grit to give the clear something to adhere to.

Cool. I'll stop at one on my home from work.
