I have a carver tfm-25 powering KEF Reference 3 speakers. I'm the original owner and have gotten lots of enjoyment from them.

I've been keeping my eyes open lately thinking of adding another TFM-25 and bi-amping if I can find a good one at a reasonable price.

Question for you-would there be any issue using a tfm-35 if I come across one? Or would the different power outputs be a problem?

Thanks for your help!

You could bi-amp horizontally rather than vertically. That is, use the tfm-35 for the woofers and the tfm-25 for the tweeters.

That's what I was thinking. Does anyone see any issues with this? Is the view worth the climb (and cost)?
