For sale is a Panamorph AK8J Anamorphic Lens Attachment Plate that SPECIFICALLY FITS ONLY THE JVC PROJECTORS LISTED BELOW and is new in the open box.
The AK8J is an attachment system that includes a very heavy gauge 1/8" thick steel plate with attachment points that connect directly to the RPA mounting head made by Chief Manufacturing.
The plate is specifically designed to perfectly plug and play mount the Panamorph UH480/UH380 and DC1 lenses along with the Panamorph MTH1 (Manual) and ATH1 (Auto) Lens transports.
***NOTE: Even though this plate only fits the listed JVC projectors, I would imagine that not only Panamorph but most any brand of Anamorphic Lens could also be mounted using this plate by drilling the required holes in the forward part of the plate that overhangs the projector lens.
This mounting plate is undoubtedly the simplest, most rock solid and ultimate way to mount an Anamorphic Lens with a projector... it is simple, solid, low profile, balanced and elegant!
Check around, as these plates routinely sell for $550.00 and virtually never come up on AVS, so my $149.00 price is a real bargain... don't let this one get away!
