According to the Cygnus Configuration calculator the LT150 is not compatible with the Panamorph I.

Image Width: 96 in.

Projector Throw: 157.2 in.

Spot Size: ???

Given the width and throw provided by the NEC documentation, the LT150 does not pass the test. However, I would think that the small size of the exit aperture on the projector would suggest that it may be possible to get all the light from the projector through the lens. I'm wondering if anyone can give an estimate of the spot size produced by the LT150 about 2 or 3 inches in front of the projector.

There's an idea - YAPV! (Yet Another Panamorp Version) This time made for the LT150. I'd sign up for a $600 pre-buy http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Seriously though.. IIRC someone mentioned that the LT150 should just fit the Panamorph requirements. Try doing a search.

This question has been asked several times and Shawn (Mr. Panamorph himself) has responded with an affirmative (meaning that he thinks that it will work). I sure hope so, since I have one on order! The ISCO II does work with the LT150!

Grant,

"The ISCO II does work with the LT150!"

But not all that well, right? I remember only one person posting that he had the combo, and IIRC he had to settle for quite a bit of pincushion/barrel distortion.

Thanks

Personally, I can't wait to see how the LT150 will look with the panny. That's 50% more brightness. Oh my.

What prebuy were you in Grant? I think I was $800 and have set my expectation to get it by Christmas 2005. *Fingers crossed!*
