Hello,

I am a little bit confused about the Panamorph and ISCO lenses. Do they squeeze a 4:3 picture to 16:9 or to 2.35:1?

Do you need two lenses to view movies in both formats?

The isco lens will stretch the width of a 4x3 to a 16x9 1.78.

The Panamorph will compress the height of a 4x3 to a 169 1.78.

None of the above lens will compress or stretch a 4x3 to a 235:1

If you put the panamorph in front of the isco you will get a 235:1 ratio.

The Panamorph II (yet to be released) will also provide a 4:3 to 2.35:1 squeeze.

I thought that I heard that it will wash the dishes too http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif It's reason for soon-to-be existence is the squeezing of appropriately stretched 4:3 images into 2.35:1 shape. Has there been a change of which I am unaware?
