I was wondering if anyone had one of these HDTV's. What is the .dot pitch on this set? And what is the max res for this set? I cant find that info. Thanks, could someone that has this set give me a comparison with other sets in the same range. Thanks

The most known problem with the set is that it does not have an auto-16x9 squeeze mode. SInce the set fails to auto squeeze some 16x9 DVD's or even all DVD's on some DVD players, this is a BIG problem.


If it had a manual squeeze through the user menu, the set would be perfect, in my opinion.

There have been reports here of geometry problems with the 4x3 HX Taus, you may want to search on Geometry and Panasonic. The CT34WX50 widescreen does not have these problems.
