I have a 50G10 that I've had for 2 months October 09 build. I noticed when new & now that during the scrolling Anti-IR bar running that I see maybe 3 or 4 white dots (bright spots) on the screen that are maybe 25 cent pieced sized.

I never got too excited initially as I couldn't see them during normal viewing but now I'm watching hockey again & can notice them on the whiter ice background. Is this a problem with my panel with variable brightness or lack of panel uniformity or is it perhaps a defect in the Anti-Reflective screen? I know this is not Image Retention as I noticed it the same day I set up the tv & it is always the same size & location.

I was thinking of calling Panny to see what they say but I thought I'd get some expert feedback from all of you fine folks first.

Thanks,

RV, I called them today and the CSR didn't say what it could be & supposed it could be normal or typical for the panel too. But they did suggest I take a photo & email it to them so if I can do that well enough I am going to send it & they would have a tech look at it. I'll see what I can do on that front.

I also asked why parts of the screen flicker on bright scenes & they said that was normal too as the panel is "working hard" at that point according to them.
