I would like to be able to hook my IBM laptop (T41) to my AE700 projector occasionally for slide show use.

I have it connected via the VGA port on the PC and the projector. I downloaded PowerStrip and was able to create a 1280x720 resolution setting.

When I switch to this resolution it appears as though it has taken effect as icons etc. are now properly proportioned but the actual image displayed is too large by about 10% and the image is skewed off to the left.

How can I get the output to this projector to actually directly address the 1280x720 pixels present in the projector as it would with an ordinary office projector.

The laptop video is an ATI Mobility Radeon 9000.

Thanks,

Tom

I always had trouble driving the Radeon Mobility 9000 in my old Dell 8200 at any 16x9 resolutions without powerstrip. With powerstrip, it was difficult (hit and miss with custom settings), but I did have success.
