I noticed it, but the BD50 also droped 100 dollars on price lol.two things affecting this: one the economic is not good right now and two Sony came with the New S350 and its selling good right now acording to someone that I know that works for sonystyle( I got one too
). The thing that will happen is that when the Sony S550 hit the market on oct 1 for 499, Panasonic will drop the price of the BD50 again by 100 dollars (499).
The BD50 will probably will be at 450 or 400 dollars by thanksgiving.
That's a really nice price on the Panasonic. I still think the 350 is a better deal though at the same price as the Panasonic. Feature wise they are close but I do think the 350 is better with SD dvd playback and profile 2.0. Plus, so far there are no audio drop out issues with the 350 compared to the Panasonic. Not trying to thread crap. I've had both players and never had audio issues with my Panasonic. I was just never happy with the upconversion on SD dvd with it.
