Panasonic crew: Should i get the TH-50PX600U for the price of TH-50PX60U?

I saw on newegg they are now listed at the same price, $1799. Thats the cheapest i found seen for both TV. Seems like a good deal to pick up the 600U, the diff between the two is the speakers, correct?


Also, for those who have either of these TV, what dvd player do you have? I will need to pick up a new dvd player too, i prefer it being a dvd recorder too.


Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks

The price sounds good... But, don't forget about shipping and tax. I can find it a few hundred dollars cheaper than Newegg after S&H and tax. The key differences are the better speakers, PC input, PIP and CableCard. I am having a hard time deciding between the closeout prices on the TH-50PX600U or the newly released all black TH-50PZ700U with 1080P. I would definitely get the 600U, instead of the 60U, though.

where can you find cheaper than newegg? $1799 + shipping is the cheapest i can find
