Panasonic DVD-S97S or Oppo DV-981HD?

I'm in a toss-up between these two DVD Players, right now I have been using the Sony DVP-NS975V since the spring and it really doesn't do a good job with up-conversion. My TV is a Panasonic Plasma TH-37PX60U using HDMI.
