[Brother Blues]

I have a Panny ES46V combo player...which was working fine up until this evening.I have it hooked up to my TV with HDMI...now it will not output a signal to the TV this way.

I was wondering do HDMI outputs suddenly go bad?...last time I used it,it was fine,today...not so much.

I checked the inputs on the TV,by switching components around,the Blu Ray player worked fine on the same input on the tv.

I switched HDMI cables around...so that leaves only the output on the DVD player as the culprit.

And the player does fine with component cables.

So...anyone have any thoughts?....thanks.

Sure sounds like you've eliminated everything but the player. One thing you could try, but shouldn't make a difference is to change the output mode. Try changing it from interlaced to progressive to 720 to 1080 etc. Possible that might jump start something. Other than that it sounds like a trip back to the store. Hopefully it's still under the 1yr warranty for you. I haven't really heard this complaint from anyone else, so maybe it's just a fluke.
