I am curious if anyone has tried both the Panasonic HS2 and the DVD X Copy Xpress software for the PC. Which has the better picture quality for DVD BU's?

I have used both, however on an E80, not the HS2;I can't tell any difference in either, both for b/u and transferring vhs to dvd

I was thinking about picking up the E80. I was told that you can High Speed Dub to DVD-R. This isn't possible with the HS2.

Have you tried this? If so do you notice any difference in the quality between HSD and normal dub?

HSD is an exact digital duplicate of the HDD source file so they are identical in PQ (no re-encoding occurs) as opposed to the real time dubbing on the HS2
