Hi all,

I recently picked up a used Panasonic LX-600 laserdisc player. While going through some old Usenet posts, I've come across reviews for this machine that state that it has a digital video noise reduction circuit that can be accessed by using the "Edit" button. But on my machine the Edit button has nothing to do with that. Were these reviews incorrect? I don't have an owner's manual to see if there's something else I need to be doing - like hitting some kind of "magic" key combination on the remote. I was actually under the impression that it

was only the LX-900 that had the video DVNR.

Am I missing something here?

thanks!

with some dvd's i get a reduced size image once it gets past the menu and have to zoom in to fill the screen. This leaves a faint amount of light around the perimiter spilling off the screen. what is this? is there a setting that can fix it? thanks. pk
