So I wanted to see how many hours I put on our new display so i went into the panasonic service menu, but now it pops up after every normal menu (setup/picture/sound/etc). I'm wondering, does it hurt anything if I just leave my screen on while i watch football or should I power cycle the PDP to reset the service menu to off. Any ideas on this?

Just push the same button you used to get into the SM again that will cycle it off.

And, yes, to get rid of it completely....cycle the set off/on.

yeah i know how to get rid of the message, but if you go into that service mode, does it matter if you just leave the set on and running even after you exit service mode but DONT power cycle it to reset it completely?
