Does anyone know what the Panasonic Tech Reps are supposed to do/know/help?

My first call on the PT-AE4000 was to find a part number for the trigger jack. They didn't know. I found a post on this forum that it needs a 3.5mm mono jack. Got two at Radio Shack for $2.19. After three days Panasonic finally called me back and said they had the jacks at $20 each.

Just called Panasonic to find out about output voltage. I know it is 12v, but my Da-Lite Cosmopolitan needs 83ma. The screen stays down as long as the jack is providing current.

Panasonic Tech Reps don't have a clue. Suggested an "engineer" would call me back. The screen was working flawlessly with my Optoma WD32.

I have set the trigger to "output" using the info on page 40 of the pdf file on the cd that came with the Panny.

Hoping someone here can help.

Sorry I can't help you but try doing a search in the main Panny thread

using 12v as the searched key word..I'm sure something will pop up as I remember reading about this in that very same thread awhile back and several times at that.

I just never paid any attention to them posts because I don't have that set up.
