Panasonic PT-L300U - Need help

273 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Terpsfan
I have had this projector for almost a year now. We generally use it to watch Satellite TV, play XBOX and an occassional movie. So far, pretty good.

I am beginning to notice a couple of greenish spots on the wall where I project, when I have the satellite receiver turned off. It looks like a dust problem. Anyone know how to get rid off these spots?

Also, has anyone tried goo paint for the wall?

Thanks.

Remove the filter on the side and give it a good cleaning. Then, without putting the filter back in place put the wand of your vacuum against the grill were the filter goes. Cover the exposed are of the grill with your hands (try and get the best seal possible) and suck away. If that doesn't work you will have to take the cover off. Remove the Phillips screws from the bottom of the projector and take off top cover. Get some compressed air and without tilting the can (move the projector not the can) spray away. Also, do a search in the archives as there should be a tutorial with pictures.
Ye olde L300 and AE300 dust blob cleaning thread.....

Also, if you search the archives, there are a bunch of threads about GOO and the L300.
