Does anyone know how the horizontal and vertical size adjustments for this set are accessed? Does it require a special remote, a special code from the user remote? Are they menu adjustable? Even in 4:3 mode, there's way too much overscan vertically.

How so? In general the analog tv signal on this tv is poor. The hdtv and dvd signals look excellent. I have as sa 3250hd hooked via dvi to the tv and that improved the non-hd signals via the stb.


I haven't found a service mode, but I recall hearing about one. I think that all the panasonics share the same basic software.


How long have you had the set?

The set's only 1 month old, and doesn't belong to me. but a neighbor/customer.


The adjustment, according to the Panasonic CSRs, is covered by the warranty, but I thought I could save them some time and aggravation by adjusting it.


By the time they can schedule the local service center in-home visit, it'll likely be another month or so.
