Panasonic PT60LC14 Startup

Every time I turn on the Panny, it defaults to the cable input and the menu is also on. Is this normal? Every other TV I have ever owned would turn on to the last input that was selected before I turned it off. Am I missing something in the settings? Not really a big deal just a little bit agravating.

I've got the 60LCX63 and it has a "Demo Mode". If your menus are like mine, you can go into Menu - Setup - Other Adjustments, and see if Demo Mode is on.

Just a thought. I haven't tried this mode but maybe yours has this turned on, causing the menu to appear at startup.

Have you done the channel scan yet? I know people have posted similar problems & they all led to not having done a channel scan.

I did the channel scan and it fixed the problem. Thanks for all the replies and help
