Hello everyone,

I purchased my Panasonic 46" PZ85U in December (2008) and I just purchased a Panasonic TC-P46S1 today and will be delivered on Tuesday. The S1 is supposed to go to the bedroom but I was wondering if it would be best to use the S1 for the living room instead? I currently have the PZ85U in the living room.


The PZ85U is hooked up to an Onkyo HT-S7100 (5.1 setup ATM), an 80GB Playstation 3, and a HD Cable box. I watch mostly blue-ray movies and play video games. What do you guys think?

I'd use the S1 where ever I'm using it as the main TV. Is there some reason why your asking the question? The S1 is supposed to be better so I'd use the better TV where I watch movies and such the most.

I wasn't sure which TV was better as they are both listed for the same price on crutchfield.com.
