Has there been any feedback using DVD-R with the Panasonic RP82?

I have not read about any problems so far. It definitely may depend on your media and the software used to created the DVD-R. I've borrowed a few discs from a friend and they've all worked perfectly.

What is the best kind of DVD-R media that is low in price and will work well on a RP82?

One of the best DVD-R media offerings is the Maxell brand, which achieved the highest 80% compatibility rating in older players, with very close scores achieved by Sony, TDK, Mitsui, Apple & Verbatim.

Still, I prefer to master on the Maxell media and then use Verbatim ink jet printable media for my customer copies.
