I am trying to decide between these 2 units. It will be used mostly for movies, and will be paired with the Pioneer 45tx and an older 36" direct view tv.


The RP91 also has scaling. What is scaling & how is it of benefit?

The RP91's scaling (aspect ratio control) will allow you to zoom non-anamorphic DVDs if your tv locks in full-mode when sent an progressive signal.
