I have a panasonic SB-W210 sub. It has a L/R input and a L/R output. My receiver has one input like a headphone jack.

how do i hook this up?

Thanks

Your receiver should have one RCA style output labeled "subwoofer" or "sub out"

Buy an appropriate length cable.

Buy a "Y adapter" - converts 2 RCA ends to 1 RCA end.

Hook it up to the input on your subwoofer.

The receiver has the RCA output but the sub inputs and outputs are speaker wires.

Is the Sub part of a Home Theater system? If so, it may not have any connections other than what you described. I don't think Panasonic makes any stand alone Subs, unless they did in the past.

You will need to run speaker wire from the receiver's front left and right speaker outputs to the sub's left and right inputs. Then run speaker wire from the sub's L/R outputs to the appropriate front speaker. Set all your speaker channels to large in the receiver's speaker set up and sub to off or no. Now you have to adjust the sub's crossover to somewhere around 80Hz and set the gain to the correct level.

No bass management, redirected LFE channel. The price you pay trying to use an HTIB sub in a component system.
