A question regarding something I read in the Panasonic service manual...
It has a page that describes the "Pedestal Adjustment" procedure, and it says something like set the R, G, B cuts to 80 and then go to gunoff and set only the green pixels to emit. Adjust G-sub brightness so that pixels emit at 2% above black. Then change the gunoff so that only blue emits and adjust the B-sub brightness to have blue pixels emitting at 2% and then repeat for the Red pixels.
This sounds like something that I need to do as I have far too much Blue at 2% and 4% above black, but the 20% test pattern looks perfect. So to correct the 2and 4% bars I would have to reduce the B-cut, but this would then compromise the 20% bar. So I figured that if there was a way to hold off the blue pixel emissions at very low light levels this might fix my problem.
Trouble is I can't seem to find the individual Sub brightness adjustments for Red Green and Blue. I can only find the main Sub brightness which obviously effects all colors.
Any HELP????
