Panasonic Service - SF Bay Area

Its a long strange trip.........

Given the "Bang for the Buck" that can be achieved by purchasing online through one of our valued sponsors, I'm going to explore this alittle. I did some searches on this forum and did not find what I was looking for so I'll ask.

If I purchase a Commercial Panny what are my service options?

I am located in the SF Bay Area.

Has anyone here used a particular service company in the Bay Area?

If so what was your experience?

The WAF would drop if I spent the $$ involved in a Plasma and I did not have my services bases covered.

Using Pannys service locator I get:

The model TH50PHD6UY may be serviced at one of the following Panasonic Select Servicers.

MEDIA ASSOCIATES, INC. 616 NATIONAL AVENUE MOUNTAIN VIEW CA 94043 (650) 968-2444

The model TH50PHD6UY may be serviced at one of the following Panasonic Authorized Service Centers.

C & S TELEVISION 5448 ROSEVILLE RD NORTH HIGHLAND CA 95660 (916) 332-1811

(which is in the Sacramento area).

I have no idea of the difference between "Select Servicers" and "Authorized Service Centers".

don't quote me on this but i seem to recall that my manual says that the authorized service center closest to the bay area is los angeles.

if you have a problem, why not just make a weekend trip out of it and drive it down there yourself?

Yup.

But It's one of the four Panasonic Factory Authorized Repair Center.

There're also a growing list of Independent Service Centers (Like those mentioned above) that will Service Panasonic Plasmas. Click on my signature and check out Part #15 Service Centers.
