This is an open box item I purchased from BestBuy during the holiday free-for-all but WAS NOT a display unit. Had less than 40 hours on the panel when I bought it and was in the original packaging with all of the bits and pieces. This initially caused me some concern as I thought it may have been returned due to fan noise or some other issue but it's a Sept build and mounted on my wall was pretty much silent unless you put your head right behind it. Screen uniformity is excellent (compared to any pictures of similar units I've seen) so I assume this was either just buyer's remorse or possibly someone upgrading to a ZT when the prices dropped.


I don't bother with slides during break in but ran it only with full screen material (with no static logos) for the first 200 hours and mixed it up after that. There is ZERO IR or burn in of any sort. So you can try to track down a deal on a brand new set and roll the dice it won't have any of the issues that some of these come with or you can buy mine which I can guarantee is an excellent example. Since it's local pickup there's no need to take my word for it. I have thousands of hours of blu ray and hd content to choose from and can give a full demo for any serious potential buyer.


Comes with all accessories (3d glasses never unwrapped). Purchased the 3yr SquareTrade EW as part of the warranty registration through Panasonic which will be transferred to the new owner giving you coverage until December of 2016.


As an added bonus (depending on your point of view) I've used a high quality vinyl wrap to 'fix' what I think is the only negative about the VT60 which is the plasticy looking chrome trim. It's very durable, has a factory look but uses no adhesive so if you don't like it you (or I) can peel it off leaving no messy residue to clean.


Attached are pictures I just took of the Panasonic mounted on the stand. I had it wall mounted in my bedroom and the link below gives some pictures of it with real content. It's a fantastic looking plasma worthy of all the praise it received. Only reason I'm selling is that I stumbled on a too good to pass up deal on something that worked a little better in that room.

Oh. There's a picture of the label on the back attached to the add that I included to show the manufacture date. The black box over the serial is not actually on the label. I just added in photoshop for the ad.
