Is it possible to buy a set of RGB (RCA or BNC type) to VGA (15-pin) wires and connect the Panasonic TU-HDS20 (DTV stb) to the VGA input to free up the component input for my future Panasonic DVD-RP91K?

Hans

BTW: The TU-HDS20 has both Y/Pr/Pb and RGB (rca type) outputs.

TV: Panasonic TH-42PW3

HD: Panasonic TU-HDS20

DVD:? Maybe Panasonic DVD-RP91K???

Yes, it is possible to use a VGA breakout cable. I've done this myself and it works great.

BTW, the DVDRP91 is a good choice for your plasma. Its native 480P display really shows off the DVD's 4:4:4 signal processing.
