Hey all. Got home today, checked the mail, and I had a letter from Panasonic. Figured it was an extended warranty offer, but when I opened it, I was more than surprised. I found an SD card and an instruction sheet for a firmware upgrade.
When ahead with the upgrade (I'm a bleeding edge kinda guy), but now I'm left with one question: What did this do? The letter they sent is pretty shy on the details, telling me that the "upgrade is to improve the reliability of [my] television set." Almost a vague as a Windows Update message ("this update updates Windows..."). Nice.
The new firmware version is v47.82.
Even if it doesn't do anything super-cool, I still got a 512MB SD card out of the deal! Thanks!
