Does anyone use this unit with DirecTV?


I have it hooked up and it works fine for regular channels but I get no local channels and PPV channels just say PPV Previews. I'd love to have the channel guide actually record from local channels but can't figure out how to get it to add those channels.


Anyone having this same issue?

PPV view channels do not list info...directv will not release the info to the supplier of tv listing guide for replay/panasonic

are your locals via directV? if so try a diiferent zip code in your area for

that locals market. combo unit should see it as directv + locals as a choice

in the setup menu after dialing in for local phone #'s. 2nd call will get locals

in your area,listed in 2 places 2-88#'s or 870-999 #'s,depending on your receivers capability.then just delete the high or low channels that aren't available on your receiver

Where will I have the option for DirecTV + Locals? Its not in Dialing & Input Settings.

As best I know the combo's haven't received software updates like the Showstoppers did to be able to use dish locals. Anyone have any other information?
