Panasonic TX32LZD80 - REALLY the BEST?

Right, this whole LCD TV thing is a bit of a minefield. I have decided to get a 32" set and after some research and looking at the Which? best buys, it seems my original thought of getting a Sony KDL 32V4000 may not be the right choice. The Panasonic TX32LZD80 is very highly rated, and Which? reckon its the best

LCD of all.

So, good folk of avforums, I request some knowledgable input from you. Is this Panasonic really the bees knees? I am about to lash out some hard earned, and I want to be sure. Thanks for your response in advance.

Are you in the USA? Those model numbers are not USA models to my knowledge.

I'm in the UK. The general consensus seems to be that the Panasonic LCDs are way better than any other brand. Being a fan of Sony and Pioneer, I need to be sure that as I take the plunge into the LCD market, I get the right set.
