Panasonic V10 Digital Audio Out Not Working

1204 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  berserk303
Hi Everyone I need some help please.

I have a set of Pioneer SE-DIR800C wireless headphones that I have connected to the Digital Audio out on my Panasonic V10. The optical cable is glowing red so I know there is a signal coming out, but my headphones have no sound. I tested the headphones with my 360 to make sure they are still working. Anyone have any ideas?

Also, I have a Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K receiver. I would prefer to connect my headphones to that via optical or coax. It looks like there is no optical output on this receiver. My old Yamaha has one so this was a surprise. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it greatly.

I'm having the exact same problem. I tried to go around it by connecting it through my TV's digital optical out. Unfortunately I found out that it only outputs sound via the digital out when it's over the air digital or digital cable connected directly to my TV. Unfortunately I thought the 1019 had optical out as well.
Bump, anyone out there have a solution?
