Panny 42PX50 being delivered tomorrow - has this happened to you?

So after much browsing and reasearch I decided on getting a Panasonic TH-42PX50. It will be delivered tomorrow. I know this is a great TV and that I will enjoy it very much.


But the strange thing is that when I think about tomorrow when it arrives the only thing I can think about is setting it up. What I mean is I'm not thinking about sitting down and watching a great movie or anything like that. I'm more looking forward to calibrating it, seeing what HD channels I can get OTA, setting up some backlighting, stuff like that. I'm pretty sure I'm going to take tomorrow off of work and devote my whole day to it. And I blame all of YOU for filling my head with all this great information. Thanks! :D


And I know I'm going to have to find a good budget upscaling DVD Player which will be a whole other process for me. Sometimes I wish I could be like some of the other people I know who can just plug something in and enjoy it. I'm sure I'm not the only one this happens to.

I was a lot like you. Thinking about what connections to use, calibrating the settings, and setting up macros on my remote.


I still fiddle with the settings and macros. Drives my wife crazy.
