Sound like your TV "sleep timer" is set to turn off at 2 pm. Go to menu, select timer and check if thats what it is. Also check "auto power on" is set to "NO", go to menu, select setup and then select advance setup.
Reminds me of a story, we had one customer calling over a couple of months claiming his Plasma would turn on by itself sometimes in the middle of the night. More towards the summer, he would call and say it was still doing it only later.
Seems he had the auto-on timer set for midnight, which became one in the morning after daylight saving went into effect. It didn't happen every night as most nights he would power off by the main power switch at the unit. It was only when he powered off by the remote, leaving the unit in standby that it would "magically" power on.
It was originally thought that some power glitch was triggering the on command until some further investigation revealed the timer was set to turn on at midnight. Ghosts were eventually ruled out.
