Panny consumer plasma service manual?

412 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  BruZZi
I'm sure this has been posted before, but search has turned up nothing. I've gotten into the service menu on my TH-42PD25U/P using the instructions in the Panny FAQ, but am unclear on what some of the settings do. Has someone posted a link to the service manual or broken it down into plain english?

EDIT>> In particular, I'd like to reduce overscan, red push, and disable unused inputs if possible.

I too have noticed red push on the same panel. Will follow this thread if any advice is given. I thought I read a post saying that the unused inputs could be defeated but I don't recall how..

EDIT

quote from "Mangopony" from another thread:
Have not got the needed time to talk about your other 'cons' above but you can 'skip' the unused channels and show only the ones being used. Just go into set up where you label the inputs. You have choices at each input to include 'skip'.

Sorry no real help, just in the same boat.

Bruzzi's FAQ has instructions to access the service manual, but I'm not sure what adjustments need to be made once one gets there.
