anybody know anything about this set? Worth it to spend a couple extra hundred dollars forthe new one? I've never seen both in the same store together.

Panny PT47WX34 vs PT47X54
Can anyone tell me what the difference is? I've found the WX34 for about a grand and the X54 for $1399. I can't find too much info on the WX34, is it really old? Anyone have one?
I'm gonna be sitting about 8 ft away from the set, is 47 too far, close or just right?
