OK... lets make this simpler...

Option 1:

Sony HT-CT150 - $250

Option 2:

Panasonic SC-HTB10 (+ Polk PSWi225) - $160 (+$240)

Thoughts?

I need a compact (less than 35" wide) soundbar for use in a bedroom. TV will be Panny TC-L32U22.

Anyone have experience with any of these products care to chime in?

Will it be possible to run the Panny soundbar and the Polk sub at the same time?

I do not believe that the Pany soundbar has a sub out. I looked at one of these at Sears several months ago and it was not available then.

Also, mixing components is not always a good idea. With a matched system, you hope that the mfr took the time to sonically match the components, crossvers, ec. When matching components, even based on published specs (which are mainly in an ad writers head and often have little or no relation to reality), you would typically have to do a lot of trial and error experimentation to equal the sound you get from matched components.
