Does anyone know for sure if the 10-series dual HDMI card (TY-FB10HMD) is compatible with an 8-series display? I called Panasonic and they said no, but the guy on the phone was just reading his script. I read online that Panny used to say the 8-series HDMI card was not backward compatible with the 7-series, but it indeed does work.
I'd love to get the dual-input card for $40, versus the single-input card for $125. The dimensions on the card are identical, so why would it not be backward compatible? Has anyone stuck the blade in there to verify it won't work??
