I'm wondering if the PSB Image B15 bookshelves as side surrounds would be an upgrade over my current Paradigms. I currently have four paradigm ADP speakers as my side and rear surround, paired with Goldenear Triton 7s and a Goldenear SCXL centre + a diy 18" sealed sub. They are the smallest ADPs that came with a Paradigm Cinema 110 system.

I can get a pair of PSBs for around $160 canadian locally. If i bought them they would be paired with the ADP rears.

Anyone have experience or opinions on whether this is a good idea?

I think the ADP are an aged design for pre-Dolby Digital. I have the ADP-170 and I would like to replace too.

If you want a design in between the diffuse sound field of the ADP and a monopole speaker like like the PSB bookshelf, look for a bipolar design.
