I have a Denon 889 reciever and Paradigm Cinema 330's LCR's and Sonance built in for the rears. I had a Klipsch SUb-12 then tried a Paradigm DSP-3100 and I am think of going to a Paradigm DSP-3400. Is that going to be too much or should I go to DSP-3200??? My room is about 20' deep x 18' wide with a faulted ceiling and open at the back with a 1/2 wall to the kitchen.

We will be using the system for 90% movies.

Uh...the Klipsch SUB12 is not less capable than a Paradigm DSP3200.

I would look at least at a DSP3400 to replace the SUB12. Listen, compare before purchase.

You want an upgrade, not a downgrade right? The SUB12 may be inexpensive and cheapie looking, but it is a capable budget sub.

Yes, I replaced the Klipsch sub with a Paradigm 3100, it is at least the same, maybe a little shaper, but I want more, I would like to get the 3400, but a friend said it will be too much. So I don't know if I should get the 3200 or 3400. Both are within my budget.
