I currently have 3 in wall speakers for FL/FR/C. I have 2 in ceiling speakers for surrounds. I am supplementing with a klipsch 12sw subwoofer. Due to watching a lot of Netflix and other streaming media like youtube most content is not Dolby or better and the simulation using my receiver doesn't sound right. I was curious if these speakers would be a decent upgrade for my intended use for when I wanted to watch stuff using 2.1/stereo?

Room is open concept and about 18x20.

Guy locally wants $300 for the pair.

I had a pair of Monitor 9 v6 for years, they were amazing. I've only heard good things about the 11s as well. $300 a pair is great, and you can probably get them for $250 without much haggling.
