I need an ext. crossover to add a pair of subs to my system. So far I can't get any good guidance on the quality difference between the Paradigm x-30 and the Mirage LFX series.


The main difference appears to be that the x-30 has infinitely adjustable phase while the Mirage does not. I have heard conflicting reports about build quality.


I plan to add this to my B&K receiver so I only need sub controls not highpass. Hopefully someone has compared these two.

I use a Mirage LFX-1. I chose it because it has infintelt adjustable crossover points from 50Hz up.


If you want to up in price a little, there was a Mirage LFX-3 at Audiohgon for about $300 which gives even more flexibility.
