....You guys were right. I was cranking the tunes today. No distortion or anything. Just loud music. On hour 6 i heard a loud rattling comming out of the ports. Took the sub apart and the woofer was seperated fron the surround and around the voice coil cover. I am not going to bother with a replacement woofer. I think i will build my own subs. A pair of "trio 12's" in their own ported enclosures at 20 hz. Each sub having its own "Bash 300"amp.

What a waste of $300. I had about 10 hrs of enjoyment. I will built my own subs as i have built my own tower speakers. At least i will know they will be able to handle the bass i crave!!!

I just got used monitor 9 v4 setup and the PS-1200 came with it. Speakers are great, but sub is lacking. Especially when im used to the JL W7 i had in my car lol


Im thinking about buying a DIY sub off a guy with the 190v2 driver in it. Should give me the bass i need
