I own a full set of Paradigm Studio Reference speakers (100s, CC, 2-ADPs, 4-20s) that I really like, except for the crappy binding posts. I know they switched to a much better post for their version 3, but money is a bit tight for any new speaker or equipment upgrades.
I actually stripped one of the binding posts on my FL speaker, and would like to replace the posts on ALL of them. I really like the build quality of these WBTs , unfortunately, since all of my speakers are bi-wireable (except for the ADPs) I need a total of 16 pairs of binding posts. That would make the WBTs 32 x $16 = $510, gulp! That's only for the midline version, topline would be nearly $800!
Anyone done this mod on their own speakers, and if so, which posts would you recommend? Thanks! I already have the new solder iron and silver solder ready to go.
