Paradigm subwoofer owners thread

Not a very exciting topic to start this thread but here we go. I am looking to replace my old pdr 12 with a defiance x12 but I may have a chance of a pair of v12 used with low hrs for a very good price ( alot less than a new x12) My listening habits are 90% movies /tv 10% music and I usually listen at moderate volume
Looking for anyone that has experience with both the x and v series subs and can shed some light on the subject thanks in advance
Cheers

The X12 has a 650W amp; the V12 has a 120W amp. IMO it's still Paradigm Defiance X12 ftw.
I've read some good reviews on the v12 even though its a value sub I have to assume its similar to my old pdr 12 and probably better with arc built in . Also running 2 subs is always better as ive read and hoping to hear from someone with hands on experience to shed some light on the subject.

You may also have read that it's always better to buy as much sub as you can now (e.g., the X12) and double up when additional funds become available. :) Especially when dealing with a large space like yours (15'x28').

Good point! The single pdr12 does surprisingly well in my room so I'm guessing a single x12 would probably be pretty awesome compared to what I'm used to. Its surprising there are so few user reviews out there.
