For people using parametric EQ, which band of frequency do you use EQ for? The reason is that Rives PARC only provides EQ up to 350Hz. I am just wondering is that one should not use EQ for frequency above 350Hz to correct room problem.

By far most of the room caused problems are below 350Hz. If you have large problems above that, it's more than likely it's a frequency response issue in the speaker/xover.

I run a parametric just on my sub. I run all 5 bands below 70Hz.

Also, it is relatively(!) easy to treat the room for problems above 350Hz and harder to do so below.

If you are running a parametric EQ on your main speakers, are the phase changes localized around the frequencies you are cutting or does it introduce phase errors across the whole frequency spectrum?

Or, is the only true disadvantage to EQ'ing the main speakers (but still at
