I know this question has been asked, but I still did not find a CLEAR answer using the search function. Someone said the "matte" side, but what is that specifically? There is what I would consider the front and back. The back having the Parkland sticker, and being vey flat with no reflectiveness. Howver the "front" side has a coating and looks like it would be the better choice.

Please help, I got it today and would like to put it up tonight.

Thanks,

Hi Rob,

This has been debated quite a bit. My preference is the matte or dull side; others have used the shinny side and are very happy with the results. The one problem I have seen with the shinny side is the surface is less than perfect on some of the sheets I looked at. I saw little nibs in the shinny side that concerned me. I am using a CRT projector.

Mike,

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I'll tack it up and see what side looks best in my situation.

Thanks again,

I used the back.. (label side) with my crt I found it had more "gain"

I fouind the front side to be no different from the blackout fabric I was

using, but the back side was "brighter" I since ruined it trying to

glue stiffners to the bowing foam I used but that is another story.

Do not use foam backing.. yes its light but it bows and its trouble.

Parkland is a great surface if you can keep it flat flat flat.
