Has anyone notice that when you “pause†a show, for a long duration (20-30 min.). IT does not appear to start where it left off. I can not quit put my finger on it, but has anyone notice it does quite seem rights, or restart where it was paused. IT seems like I have to go back several sec’s to pick up, I don’t remember having to do this before… Any Ideas

when you say that "it does not appear to start where it left off" do you mean that you turn away from your set, or walk away, and return to find not your program, but some sort of Replay logo, Replay Zones message or remote control explanation on your screen. If so, look around, there appears to be a bug in the new 3.0 software causing this to pop up.

I have left it on "PAUSE" (where as the ad-screen comes up) and gone to do errands I had forgot to do earlier, leaving the Replay "on" and everything (except the TV). I come back to where it left off, maybe even a second earlier (back to the previous MPEG I frame?), but never seconds later.

I think what's being referred to here is something I've noticed since 3.0. If I pause something (live TV or recorded, doesn't seem to matter which) and do a bunch of "stuff" searching through the channel guide, a few find shows, go into the Replay Guide and do a find all episodes or find matching shows on some of the stuff I've set up to record, go into Zones and do some seaching, etc... when I return to what was paused, it has "backed up" to a point previous to where I paused it.


The more activity while it is paused, the more it will back up.


Not a problem as far as I'm concerned, just an oddity.

I will see if thats it, I just couldn't put my finger on it, it has

seemed like it was not in the exact spot that I paused it. I remember with

2.0 that I unpause it and continue. But I have notice that with 3.0 after I've unpaused it, it didn't seem right so I'd go back a few times and continue..

If I recall, It's actually a feature, it backs up a second so that you don't miss anything.
