Hi

Just looking into using my PC as a media player for 3D files.

I used to have the 3D vision Kit running on my Media PC and an Acer h5360 Projector - all worked great

I have just purchased a Acer H5480BD PJ and it does not support Nvidia 3D

Now I have a laptop with a quadro M160 graphics card and have just skimmed the surface as to getting a DLP 3D setup with the laptop.

I have my DLP glasses and was wondering what I need to do (if I can) to play 3d files on my current setup?

Assuming your video card supports 3d, all you need is a software player like powerdvd. In that go to the 3d setup and you will see some choices. I have a dlp tv and I need checkerboard option. Yours might be simply the first one(hdmi 1.4 or something like that). You should be good to go since you already have the dlp link glasses. I am not familiar with acer projector but most dlp 3d projectors are 120Hz while some are 144Hz. Normal dlp glasses don't work with the 144Hz projectors. You should be able to find that information easily.
